Frequently Asked Questions
Please wear clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. For example, shorts are ideal for knee or leg issues, and looser clothing is best if we need to assess your upper body. For back pain or massage, we recommend a standard bra (rather than a sports bra) as it provides easier access to the treatment area. Your comfort is always our priority, and we’ll explain everything clearly during your session.
No referral is needed, you can book directly with us. If you have medical scans or previous reports, you’re welcome to bring them, but they’re not essential. Every patient receives a fresh, thorough assessment to ensure we provide the most accurate and up-to-date care for your current needs.
Yes, of course. You're welcome to bring a partner, friend, or child. They can either stay in the treatment room with you or relax in our reception area - whatever makes you feel most at ease.
Session length depends on the service you book:
-
Standard therapy and online consultations: approx. 50 minutes
-
Online follow-ups: approx. 30 minutes
-
Sports massage: 30 or 60 minutes
-
One-to-one rehab/performance training: 60 minutes
Each session includes a brief consultation, followed by hands-on treatment, exercise-based rehab, or massage, plus expert advice tailored to your recovery.

This varies depending on your injury, goals, and recovery stage. Some minor issues resolve in 1–2 sessions, while return-to-sport rehab or post-surgical recovery may require longer-term support. We'll always give you an honest plan upfront and help you recover as quickly, safely, and independently as possible — no unnecessary visits.
Not at all. While we specialise in sports injuries and performance rehab, we support a wide range of people: from gym-goers and weekend warriors to desk workers and post-op patients. We also work with teenagers aged 15+. For younger children, we’re happy to recommend trusted paediatric specialists.
Yes, there’s free parking on-site. While it can get busy at times, there’s usually plenty of space available. Full access and parking instructions will be provided in your booking confirmation.
Our services are private and require payment on the day of treatment. However, many patients successfully claim back costs through health insurance providers, especially for sports therapy or massage.
We are registered with the Society of Sports Therapists (SST). From experience, patients have made successful claims through insurers such as:-
MediCash
-
Health Shield
-
Westfield Health
We recommend checking directly with your insurance provider to confirm whether your policy includes cover for treatments by an SST-registered sports therapist. We’re happy to provide an invoice or receipt to support your claim.
